Tree planting campaign at Hambantota Port to commemorate 50th Anniversary

Dear Members,

As you are aware, the year 2016 will be of special significance to the Sri Lanka Shippers' Council, being its 50th anniversary. Since its inauguration in 23rd March 1966, the Council has played a vital role in the Sri Lankan economy by looking after the interest of Shippers' and also to serve as a strong advocate to the Government on Shipping & Port related matters.

To commemorate this land mark occasion, the Council is planning to have a Tree planting campaign at the Hambantota Port under the distinguished patronage of Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, Minister of Ports, Shipping & Maritime Affairs, Chairman and senior officials of Sri Lanka Ports Authority.

Date: 24th March 2016

• Cost per participant will be Rs. 6,500/= (Including transport, breakfast and buffet lunch)
• Limited Registration available on a first come first served basis
• Participants are requested to register with the secretariat by filling the attached form
• Deadline for registration: 18th March 2016 (Late registration won’t be accepted)
• Dress Code : office Attire
