Global Shippers' Forum Annual Meeting

27th – 30th July 2016 at Colombo Sri Lanka
Organised by Sri Lanka Shippers' Council in conjunction with the Global Shippers' Forum

The Annual Meeting coincides with the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the SLSC. This is an important milestone for the SLSC and all GSF members are invited to take part in the celebration activities which commence on the 28th July, see below the outline programme.

The SLSC and GSF are pleased to be the host of this meeting of the GSF. The GSF is a not for profit company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom. The GSF is a non-governmental organisation that represents the freight and logistics interests of shippers' organisations internationally.

The event will be held from 28th-30th July 2016 and the Draft programme is as follows;

Hotel Booking Arrangements

Hotel reservation can be arranged through the Shippers' Council Secretariat at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel. Details are included in the registration form

Visa requirements

This invitation is provided for members of the Global Shippers' Forum which we trust may by used by them to obtain any necessary travel documents including a visa for entering Sri Lanka. Visa Requirements for entering Sri Lanka can be found at www.eta.gov.lk. A business visa is issued to foreign nationals who visit Sri Lanka for business purposes for short periods of time. This visa may be issued for single or double journeys. Application forms can be downloaded from this website and are available in English.
